Designed to pair with our Number Sense Flowers, this shallow flower-shaped tray gently keeps the petals gathered around the centre numeral while children match the different number representations.

The petals still remain completely removable, so children are doing the same hands-on matching and number sense work — the tray simply gives each flower a little more stability while they play.

It can be especially helpful for children who find themselves concentrating on keeping the loose pieces together rather than focusing on which representations belong with their chosen number.

The tray closely follows the original flower shape, with raised sides that help prevent the petals and centre from shifting while still leaving plenty of each piece exposed for easy little hands to pick up and change.

Materials & Production

Our learning resources are crafted from PLA, a plant-based bioplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch and sugarcane. We 3D print each piece in-house using premium-grade PLA for strength, lightweight comfort, and safe play.

Because every item is made-to-order, you may notice subtle layer lines or minor surface variations—these are natural to the 3D printing process and don't impact durability or function. Colour shades can also vary slightly between batches, adding to the handmade character of each resource.
