Before & After Bats - Digital Download

Explore number order through hands-on play with our educator-designed Before & After Bats.

Children match the numbered wings to each bat centre, finding the numbers that come before and after to complete the sequence. This playful activity supports numeral recognition, number sequencing and understanding one more and one less.

Focus on one bat at a time for more supported learning, or mix the wings together for a matching challenge. The five completed bats form three-number sequences covering numbers 1–15.

Recommended print settings

Tested on a Bambu Lab P2S using PLA and the following Bambu Studio settings:

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm

• Layer height: 0.20 mm

• Wall loops: 2

• Infill: 15% Grid

• Orientation: Print flat, with numbers and facial details facing upwards

These settings are provided as a guide. Results may vary depending on your printer, filament and slicer.
